#GetNikki2ISTE

The Description

The funds raised through PledgeCents will be applied towards travel expenses associated with attending ISTE 2015 in Philadelphia, PA June 28-July 1, 2015.

$469 will be applied toward round trip airline tickets to ISTE 2015.

ISTE is the ultimate face to face conference to connect, share, learn and grow with other innovative educators from across the nation and world.  Information learned by attending sessions at ISTE and networking with educators will enable me to bring new, innovative ideas back to my school district that will directly enhance teaching and learning.

Additonally, if affored the opportunity to attend ISTE 2015 through funding by PledgeCents I will be able to present in the Playground presentation arena at ISTE and also be able to live tweet as well as broadcast TL News Night LIVE from the Blogger's Cafe, thus sharing information learned beyond my own school district.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal to attend ISTE 2015, I will purchase Dash & Dot Robotics (https://store.makewonder.com/) and two iPad Air 16 GB WiFi model (http://store.apple.com/us/buy-ipad/ipad-air/16gb-space-gray-wifi) so that I can bring digital literacy, coding and computer programming to the students in my school district.

Dash & Dot Robotics: $229.99

iPad Air (2): $399.00 each
