I believe it is critical that my students are engaged with vital topics. ENGAGEMENT only happens when lessons are stimulating and FUN! Studies Weekly standards-based curriculum is a fun classroom newspaper for kindergarten students that helps me introduce non-fiction topics even at this early age.

The combination of printed weekly units with web-based primary source videos, photos, maps, music, audio reader and other features creates high levels of student engagement. The teacher created lessons include word study, writing prompts, reading (modeled, shared, guided), and much more. Even my little kindergarten sweeties learn critical thinking skills as they see real photos, videos and letters of historic people and places. We can't start too early to develop a new generation of responsible decision makers.

Dr. Benjamin Bloom at the University of Chicago proved that as much as 50 percent of a child's adult intelligence is formed by age 4. That tells me that Kindergarten is a critical age to develop these young minds to recognize important topics that affect even them at their age in Lindon, Utah.

Please help me create engaging learning experiences that inspire human hearts. They will profoundly impact my students as they become critically thinking, responsible decision makers.

The amounts calculated above are used to ensure the fundraising goal covers all fees. Actual fees will be calculated and collected on a per transaction basis, therefore total amounts may vary once the fundraiser ends. Calculated fees consist of a 10% sourcing fee, 5% fulfillment & labor fee and 3% processing fee.
