The Description

With these funds I will...

purchase team-building puzzles and games which promote cooperation, leadership, communication, and teamwork!  Help me increase my positive classroom environment and provide a fun learning routine.

This money will directly impact my CSULA 1st grade scholars by building more excitement within our classroom culture, help establish trust and build shared experiences between scholars and our community.

We plan to purchase more educational puzzles which are good TEAM building activities, great icebreakers and are fun ways to continue the process of building a strong class and community based on positive relationships.

Second grade is right around the corner and the 1st grade scholars of Cal State LA deserve to experience more TEAM building projects such as this, as it's an additional way to allow students to get to know each other, practice different styles of communication, make group decisions, solve problems, work with different students, and test leadership skills.

See links below which describe the different type of team building games CSULA would like to purchase:

Tug-O-War Rope ($115)

4 Space Puzzles ($15 each)

4 African Puzzles ($15 each)

4 State Map Puzzles ($13 each)

Parachute ($115)

2 Bowling Pin Sets ($80 each)

3 Twister Pads ($15 each)

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal of $600 and only raise $300, I we purchase $300 worth of team building games and puzzles. I will ensure that my scholars benefit from this amazing gift, please help me reach my goal.
