What Did That Owl Eat?!

The Description

With these funds I will purchase 102 owl pellets for my students to dissect during our unit on ecology along with needed dissection tools like gloves and tweezers. One of the main standards for us to master involved understanding food chains. I want my students to know more than just how to label players in a food chain on a diagram. I want them to experience it first hand! Owl pellets are a cool way for students to investigate the interconnected relationship between producers, consumers, and decomposers. We've dissected frogs before - now help us dissect a real life example of the food chain! Help us achieve our goal of becoming the top 6th grade science experts in Memphis!

Back Up Plan

If we don't reach our entire goal we will... use the money to buy as many pellets as possible with needed dissection tools.
