The Description
With these funds I will purchase10 ACT prep books which currently are on Amazon for $27.96 each. With the books, a group of teachers at my school will host ACT prep classes as a weekly after school program. We have had a group of 10 students ask us for help with ACT prep and will invite more based on college interest and work ethic in class.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will purchase as many ACT prep books as I can purchase with the money. We will share books and work together as a class to get through the material and tips for excelling on the ACT.
About the Creator
My name is Emily Kondras and I have been teaching for five years at the same low-income high school in Indianapolis. I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 and over the years our school has seen an influx of students going to college and more importantly, being successful in college.
