Curating Our Makerspace With Maker Maven

The Description

Cause Description: Makerspaces, sometimes also referred to as hackspaces, hackerspaces, and fablabs are creative, DIY spaces where students can gather to create, invent and learn. As a teacher, I am responsible for preparing my students for the 21st century and there is no better way to do that by creating a makerspace in our classroom. We will do this through Maker Maven who curates amazing supplies that makes building a makerspace a one-stop shop.

Maker Maven makerspace kits are designed for students to "Unbox & Start Making" and encourage basic STREAM concepts through hands-on makerspace activities. Each makerspace kit contains several makerspace activities complete with activity instructions, materials, and task cards containing focus question(s) and extension activities.

If this is the type of classroom you wish you could have been a part of when you were a student, please consider making an investment in our fundraiser. Every generous investment brings these awesome resources one step closer to our classroom.
