Help Build The Foundation For A Childs Education: Miss Fosters 1st Classroom

The Description

Hi friends!

In the next few weeks I will begin teaching in my very own classroom in Yazoo City, Mississippi. I am so excited to FINALLY begin this journey that I have dreamed about for a long time.

As exciting as this time is, one huge hurdle that students in the Mississippi Delta and other high need regions around the US face is a LACK of the necessary materials that they need daily. It is extremely difficult for students to take part in activities and classwork when they do not have basic supplies.

My goal is to make sure all of my students feel cared for, loved, safe, and supported in my classroom. I will use any funds that I raise to purchase the necessary supplies to ensure my students have a classroom that is stocked full of materials and supplies.

Here is a list of some of the materials that your generous investment will help provide for my students:

2 Boxes of Paper (10 Reams) - $50

Kleenex (18 Pack) - $36

2 Boxes of Pencils (288 Count) - $32

Chart Paper (2 Pack) - $27

2 Packs of Dry Erase Markers (32 Count) - $22

Hand Sanitizer (Pack of 2) - $20

Crayons (125 bulk supply) -$15

Colored Pencils (125 bulk supply) -$25

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (3 Pack) - $12

Pack of Highlighters (50 Count) - $10

Post-it Notes (24 pack) - $9

Manilla Folders (75)- $40

Back Up Plan

If we do not meet our goal, I will provide as many things as possible for my students. I will purchase supplies on my own according to the highest needs of our classroom.

About the Creator

In a few weeks, I will be teaching in my very 1st classroom in a public school. I am positive and convinced that ANY child has the ability learn. However, I know and understand that learning can be difficult without having the supplies and tools needed in order to do so.
