Being a Part of The Story with Storyboard That

The Description

My students are always more engaged when they are able to create based on the content we are learning about. This is why I want to be able to implement Storyboard That in my classroom this year. With Storyboard That, my students are able to create their own storyboards based on the content we are learning about. They can either create their own storyboard to extend the learning or create one to summarize the content we have covered. This will provide my students a streamlined way to create, which is proven to be the best way to extend their learning of key concepts.

By creating storyboards my students will also have the ability to practice other critical ELA skills like narrative writing and dialogue. This cross-curricular approach engages my students in multiple subjects and topics that are critical for their success. Storyboard That provides a platform that is of professional quality and fosters creativity and presentation skills. This is where you come in. Every investment you make brings Storyboard That one step closer to my classroom.

Here is the breakdown in cost for fundraising for Storyboard That

  • Total - $71.00 (rounded up to the nearest dollar)

About the Creator

I am a 7th Grade Tier 3 Reading teacher at Hazelwood Northwest Middle School. Most students I service are at least 2 years below according to the Lexile scale. Reading and writing has been a tremendous challenge for my students which has made school a tough place to be. My goal is to make reading and writing fun and accessible. My students need to read and write their world in order to live fulfilling, expressive lives.
