The Description

With these funds I will...

Our Computer Science Honors Society is planning two community service project this year and we need your help! Our goal is to increase diversity in computer science by offering high impact and engaging activities to our community. Our first project is a January Computer Science Jam where young people across San Antonio will be invited to a free event to learn coding, cyber security, computational coding with Industry mentors in a low-key, hands-on environment. Our second community service project is to create a cyber security mentoring program with the local middle school where our members will meet monthly with the students to help guide and encourage. The funds will allow us to get up and running to start these projects, grow leaders, and make an impact.

Back Up Plan

If we do not reach our goal I will purchase... our Computer Science Honors Society members will host a bake sale and host an event night at a local restaurant.
