The Description
With these funds I will... purchase math manipulatives that will encourage a visual way to learn math, basic school supplies so that each student is prepared to have a productive school year, and lastly advanced learning materials for my high performing scholars so that can be constantly challenged.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will purchase...as many school supplies as I can on my own.
About the Creator
I am a 1st year 7th grade Math Teacher in Houston, Texas for Teach for America. I have a strong passion for all students, especially those who are oppressed in any way. I want to teach them STEM in a way that they grow a passion for it like I do. I want my students to realize that their education will take them far in life, and with it their opportunities are limitless.
