Field Trip to Seymour Discovery Center

With your generous contributions, we aim to provide financial assistance to four TK and 2nd grade classes, allowing them to experience an unforgettable educational field trip to the Seymour Marine Discovery Center in Santa Cruz, California. This hands-on learning experience will immerse students in lab investigations, giving them the unique opportunity to interact with live animals and real-world marine exhibits. As they explore the diverse and fascinating Monterey Bay ecosystem, students will gain a deeper understanding of the interdependent relationships that sustain ocean life in their very own backyard. Your support will not only enrich their science education but also inspire a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.

 

Back Up Plan

The Seymour Marine Discovery Center has generously offered scholarship assistance to support our Title 1 school, helping to make this field trip more affordable. The funds raised through this campaign are intended to cover the remaining costs of program fees. If we fall short of our fundraising goal, every dollar collected will still be donated to the Seymour Center to help offset these expenses. This ensures that all contributions directly support making this valuable educational experience possible for our students, even if we don't reach the full amount.
