The faculty and staff of Bourg Elementary embraced a growth mindset to ensure all students have the opportunity to improve academically. We will enhance academic performance by using current data to provide students with engaging and rigorous lessons through a standard-based curriculum. This will lead to students' academic and behavioral growth by preparing them for each stage that will lead to college and/or career readiness.

Hello there! My name is Chelsy Theriotr, and I'm in my 7th year of teaching in South Louisiana. My career has allowed me to cross paths with several grade levels and subjects. I am blessed to be in 3rd grade teaching math, social studies, and science. My teaching style includes fostering collaboration, conversation, and community. That's the reason I'm here!
