Welcome to Dr. David W. Kistler Elementary School, a kindergarten through 6th grade school where students learn through opportunities of knowledge, pride, and success.
At Kistler Elementary, we are committed to working with parents and students collaboratively to best meet the needs of our students through creative and innovative learning opportunities. We provide instruction that engages students in thinking critically about their reading, writing, math, and problem solving skills. Our administration, faculty, and staff have high expectations for behavior and achievements which challenge students to be successful.
Our extensive menu of extracurricular activities, both academic and recreational, is unsurpassed. Our entire staff is committed to establishing a school environment that allows our students to flourish and to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Each academic year will bring with it many new challenges, as well as many new rewards. There will be new teachers to meet, new books to read, new friends to make, new skills to master, and exciting times to share. Parents and the community are always encouraged and welcomed to become involved in our students' education.
