About
KIPP Nashville College Prep Elementary School (KNCPE) is a free, open-enrollment public charter school located in North Nashville. At KNCPE, we offer a rigorous college preparatory program combined with character instruction that aligns with our core values:
- Agape: I show my highest form of love to myself and others. I love myself more than anything and I have unconditional love for others.
- Identity: I am the only me that exists in the world. I love who I am and I am confident in my abilities to change my nation.
- Belonging: I am connected to a culture, race and gender that makes me feel safe and affirms my existence.
- Empowerment: I have the tools and resources that I need which gives me the strength and confidence that I need to be successful.
- Pride: I love who I am. I am confident in my abilities and celebrate the power that I possess.
KIPP Nashville College Prep Elementary School is KIPP’s second elementary school in Nashville, and the first elementary school in Northeast Nashville. KNCPE shares a campus with KIPP Nashville College Prep Middle School. KNCPE will grow to educate Kindergarten through fourth grade by 2020 making the Ewing Park location a complete K-8 campus.
At KNCPE, we are rooted in love, identity, justice and community. We help our students fall in love with learning through an emphasis on joyful instruction and creating an environment that empowers our scholars to take risks, so they will be prepared to go to and through college.
