At Lakeside, we are a real family. There is a lot of communication that comes to and from the school. We have a planner, Meet & Greet, Open House, a Twitter account, a school website, Remind 101, and Parent Links, just to name a few. There is also a lot of student and community activities such as: Academic Family Nights, PTA Family Nights, PTA sponsored dances, Fun Days, Fun Runs, Community Partner Nights, and much more. We also give back to the community by participating in Relay for Life, Dan Marino’s Autism Walk, The Harvest Drive, and Jump Rope for Heart. Finally, there are a lot of celebrations – too many to mention. We are a “Bucket Filling” school, so you will see and hear all about our “Golden Gators”.

The Mission of Lakeside Elementary is to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members to provide a nurturing and safe environment, which will enable students to achieve their maximum potential in all areas of the curriculum and prepare them to be responsible members of society.
