About

During the first week of school, Principal Delk created a buzz around the building by announcing that something special was going to happen in a few days. The day finally arrived on Monday, August 14, 2017. Acting as game show hosts, Principal Delk and Assistant Principal Jackson unveiled the district-wide ROAR Project/PBIS with "Spin for Your Den". In true game show style, using a large hand crafted wheel, each member of the MPKP Family was sorted into dens. There was lots of excitement in the building. Amid flashing lights and upbeat music, students and faculty erupted in applause at every spin of the wheel.

The results were electric! Members of the MPKP family proudly displayed their dens by wearing armbands of coordinating colors. The dens will create camaraderie throughout the year as teams participate in healthy competitions designed to encourage teamwork and build relationships For more information on each Den, please attend our 2017 Open House on Tuesday, August 29th at 4:30 p.m. We are ALLiN! Embrace the Process.

1st Grade Teacher

I’m a 1st grade teacher. I work in Moss Point School District, where majority of my students come from low-income households. I spend most of my time finding ways to improve my classroom not because I have to, cause I absolutely LOVE teaching! There is no other place I would rather be than in my classroom.
