Please help us by making this a productive year for your child. We know student success evolves from committed teachers and students, but nothing is more important than parental involvement. Welcome! I'm a sort of "in-between" teacher. I started off in the business world, got bored, and went back to earn my teaching degree. I currently hold an Educational Specialist degree from the University of Georgia. My concentration is in elementary mathematics. I'm constantly on the search for what works in an ever changing educational environment. I like to try new things and juxtapose them against what worked from my learning experience to create a unique learning environment for my students that challenges them while still remains attainable.

I have been teaching at a Title 1 school for 10 years. We have over 800 students K-5 and limited technology. I love using new and exciting technology as a resource in my classroom. My students' achievement is very important to me and I want to give the them the "love of learning."
