Paragon Mills Elementary is a school that represents a unique blend of cultures. Students come from more than 40 countries and speak over 20 languages. This diversity creates a learning community that provides for an interactive exchange of ideas between students, teachers and parents.
Our teachers and staff work collaboratively to provide experiences that enable students to become successful learners. In terms of academic support, we offer tutoring, as well as Encore for gifted and talented students.
As a Title I school, Paragon Mills goes above and beyond to support the students and families of our community. Monthly parent involvement opportunities and meetings help families learn more about the education of their children.

I am a wife, mother of 3, and a kindergarten teacher in a Title I school that is about 70% English language learners. My class is comprised of many different languages and cultures. I love watching my kinder babies blossom into readers, writers, and most importantly good citizens. The most important thing that we learn is how to work together and help one another when needed.
