We are a Title 1 school that strives for excellence with our students. Parklane Elementary is a proud part of the Fulton County School System and dates back to its beginning in 1953. Though Parklane Elementary is about 59 years old, the facility and grounds are well maintained and offers its students and community a well-kept, clean environment for teaching, learning, and community activities.
Our school administration, teachers, and support staff are a wonderful family of professionals that care greatly about each student. Every child at Parklane is treated as an individual. We recognize and embrace the specific needs of each student and work diligently to provide them with the support and assistance needed to be successful. At Parklane we strive to have every student aspire to our school motto, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE, AND SUCCEED. We want our students to BELIEVE in themselves, ACHIEVE academically and socially, and work hard to SUCCEED each and every day. We remind our students daily that they come to school to LEARN, HAVE FUN, and always TRY their very best. Our mission is to educate every student to be a responsible, productive citizen. Our vision is for all students to learn to their full potential.

I am a third grade teacher and I work in a Title 1 school. I strive every day to provide my students with the knowledge that they will need to grow as an individual, students and friend. Students with very little have captured my heart because they are little sponges that provide me with the opportunity to "blow their minds" with the endless possibilities of what they can achieve if they only put their minds to it.
