Picacho Middle School prides itself in a holistic approach, where students are supported in their learning as well as in their over all development. In order for students to reach their potential they need the support of parents, teachers and the community. We encourage all individuals willing to help foster the development of our youth to please contact the school. It is our intent to provide as many opportunities as possible for students to grow academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.

Middle School is a challenging time in the life of our students, and we are confident that together, we will successfully help them navigate through this challenge and be prepared for high school and a successful future. Picacho teachers are incorporating teaching strategies that aim to increase student involvement and hands on learning. We use research based strategies from Kagan, Avid and other high yield strategies.
