About

Lee County Public Schools is the ninth-largest district in Florida and the 33rd-largest school district in the United States. We proudly educate over 90,000 students in grades K-12. Our District is a model for others in the state and nation - from our Microsoft Certified High School (Dunbar High) to our National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence (The Sanibel School) to one of the top IB High Schools in the world (Fort Myers High.)

While the unprecedented growth we've experienced the past few years has slowed, families are still moving to our area. The reason is simple - Lee County's 645,000+ residents live and work in an attractive environment. Exotic trees and plants flourish in the subtropical climate, and local waterways support a host of fish, birds and other animals. There are beautiful waterfronts everywhere.

1st Grade

I am a first grade teacher and new mom of a sweet baby boy. Teaching is my life but now so is my little guy. So I do not have the funds as much as I used to for my classroom. Any help is needed and greatly appreciated!
