William Penn Elementary is a Title 1 School (Pre-K - 6th) and apart of Tulsa Public Schools. Students at Penn Elementary will be responsible, honorable, and prepared to succeed in junior high, high school, and college through rigorous, engaging, and well-planned instruction; character development; exposure to enriching life experiences; and a community network that supports student academic, social, and physical well-being. William Penn implements the Tulsa Model as a means to weave curricular efforts into a comprehensive and integrated process. Our students learn life skills that will help them become productive citizens. At William Penn READING, MATH, SCIENCE, & TECHNOLOGY are our focus. We use the SRA Reading program in grades kindergarten through five to provide consistency in teaching the basic reading skills. We focus on Science and Social Studies through integrated methods. Growing with Mathematics is used in grades kindergarten through fifth to expand our students’ knowledge in Math.

My name is Samantha Hogue. I graduated from University of Central Oklahoma in May of 2016. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. Health and Fitness is a huge passion of mine ever since I was younger. My goal is to eventually work my way into becoming a PE teacher or the Athletic Director for a school. Kids, sports and fitness are all a passion of mine, so teaching is the best outlook to get me started.
