Wright Elementary School

Fort Walton Beach, Florida

About

Wright Elementary was established in 1960 and has served generations of families over the years. Currently, more than 650 students attend Wright, from Pre-KD through 5th grade. In additional to our general education curriculum, Wright offers assistance to students through the federal Title I program, the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program, and through ESE (Exceptional Student Education) programs.

Student school life is enriched through the many hands-on, research-based strategies employed by our teachers, Music, PE, Media Center, Computer Lab, Mobile Laptop and Chromebook labs, 3 iPad Labs, Student Council, "Grasses in Classes" Science (5th grade only), and the ASPIRE after school program.

Beginning the 2016-2017 school year, Wright implemented the Leader In Me program. We are excited to use the Seven Habits on a daily basis.
