$540 goal
The Description
Hi everyone, thank you for checking out my PledgeCents page! I've just completed Teach for America’s 2018 Atlanta Institute where I had the pleasure of co-teaching 17 amazing students in 9th grade ELA, and I'm so excited to continue my journey in education with my move to New Orleans! In a few short weeks, I'll be joining the Special Education staff at Abramson Sci Academy as the 9th grade Specially Designed Instruction teacher, and I'd sincerely appreciate any support in my goal to raise $540 for classroom supplies to make sure my students will have the best classroom environment to support their learning!

If I do not meet my goal, I will purchase as many materials as possible. I will prioritize the materials that are most essential to students (pencils, paper, etc.) as they are the most important to ensuring that students can participate in daily lessons.
About the Creator
Special Education holds great importance in my heart: my younger sister has Downs syndrome and just graduated high school this year. With the profound support of her special education teachers, she has seen significant growth both academically and personally. I'm so excited to be taking on this new role in the fall and am looking forward to meeting my students so soon! Thank you so much for your consideration in donating to my classroom!
