Since I was little, education equity has always been very important to me. One day I hope that every child will have access to a great start. Fairly soon, I will make the move to Charlotte, North Carolina to teach English/Language Arts at an awesome Title I middle school; getting to share my love of reading while working with students to minimize the effects of historic, systemic oppression is an absolute dream. I also had the privilege to teach English/Language Arts to a brilliant group of young people. I so appreciate any assistance offered to me in building strong classroom infrastructure for my scholars, and I cannot wait to begin formally teaching very soon!
