The Description
My school is a Title 1 school, which means that most of my kids qualify for free breakfast and lunch due to being right on or below the poverty line. The previous school that I was at was in a more affluent part of town, and those students never lack for anything. I would love to be able to provide the same access to advanced technology for my students that their peers across town have.
With these funds I will purchase a single 3D printer that will allow my students to print their .STL files and bring their creations to life! My science kids are always coming up with new and innovative ways to test the scientific concepts that we are learning about in class. Unfortunately, a lot of times the ideas that they come up with are either things that we cannot purchase or that don't exist yet. With the addition of the 3D printer being requested through this PledgeCents Cause and also with the current CAD software we have a lincensing agreement to use on our campus, my students will be able to create and print their ideas into reality which will allow us to test their ideas, no matter how crazy!

Back Up Plan
If I do not meet my goal I will purchase a cheaper 3D printer that requires some user tweaking before it can be used. The reason I would prefer the DaVinci is because it is a "plug-and-go" printer, without the need for modifying settings. However, there are cheaper 3D printers that have less reliable reputations and require user care more often.
