The Description

With these funds I will use the money in order to purchase 15 new iPad minis for my classroom.  We have a small lab of 19 iPads already within the classroom.  This will provide us with an iPad for every other student.  I would really like to have an iPad for every student.  This will allow my students to be able to interact with technology individually on a daily basis.  They will use the iPads to learn new and exciting concepts, to research information for reports, and papers that they must use.  They will use them to be able to able to remediate a subject that they need extra help on.  We use them for our morning math timings.  The students use these iPads everyday in almost every facet of their education.  If they each had an iPad to use, there would be no more waiting for their partner to be done.  We'd be more sufficient in the classroom.  

My students deserve the iPads because they work hard everyday.  Their excited using this new technology and they love expanding their depth of knowledge pertaining to every subjects, especially the use of technology.  iPads have motivated these students to work harder.  They've helped my special needs students to achieve as much in the classroom as every other student.  They've brought a self confidence in my classroom like no other.  These students have had to share iPads with a partner all year long.  They deserve to be able to explore the wonderful world of technology on a daily basis using their own iPad.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase as many iPads with accessories as I can get.  The closer I can get to my goal of having 1 on 1 technology devices per student, I will.  So I will purchase the amount of iPads I can get with cases for them, keyboards for them, headphones, stylus, and charging stations.  So whatever I recieve will go to getting anything I can to put more iPads in the classroom!
