The Description
With these funds I will...
- Create an educational and cultural experience for eighty 7th graders from KIPP: Excelencia Community Preparatory.
- Scholars will be traveling to Los Angeles for a College Readiness Trip! Students will be exploring universities, engaging in art tour, and experiencing the city.
- Provide transportation from the Bay Area to Los Angeles.
- Allow students to stay in Los Angeles for 3 nights so they have the opportunity to explore Loyola Marymount University and University of California-Los Angles. Students will be able to tour both a private and public universities.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will purchase...
- A bus to take students on a local college tour closer to the Bay Area.
