When my students walk into their 8th grade English class, I want them to feel loved, appreciated and safe. I start the year by creating a classroom environment that will help support this. From positive affirmations on the wall to pillows to help make reading comfortable, my classroom is always the place to be.

This year I want to add more flexible seating options, more books for my classroom library, Character journals and ELA and ESL stations. I also provide supplies for students like pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, binders, crayons, markers, etc. Classroom supplies like Lysol wipes, Lysol spray, Germ-X, Tissue, Paper Towels and Expo Markers are always in high demand and I try to stock up on these at the beginning of the year.
