Kindergarten in Room K-2

The Description

With these funds they will...finally get to create art to correspond to their language arts and math material that they learn from.  My students come from very high impoverished families.  They have no money at their homes to use on art or money to donate to the classroom.  My students deserve to have the same public education and resources that high income students get.  We have no money to buy paint, paper, craft supplies, glue, paper or easels to use.  To create a well rounded child they need to also have experience in the arts.  In the Federal Common Core Standards the students are required to comprehend the correlation between an author's words and the illustration to those words.  My students write many stories and I would like them to be able to illustrate their stories.  I would like to purchase painting easels which cost $144 each (times 3), paints by the gallon which cost $100, dispensers which cost $56, brushes which cost $50, finger paints which cost $40, paper, oil pastels which cost $50, chalk which costs $16, and water colors which cost $30.  Please help our cause.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase... as much of the paints and paper as I can.  I will have to go without the easels and I will have to pay out of my own pocket for any other art supplies needed.
