When this JL Long Band Program first got off the ground it had a membership of around 60 students. It grew as a new and passionate teacher took over to around 120. Now that it's under the leadership of yet a third new and passionate teacher, the program has continued to grow!  W are now at around the 375 enrollment mark. The students love band and we love the students! Unfortunately because our numbers grew so drastically and so quickly, we have outgrown every space the school has to offer us. That's why we're asking for your help!!!

Almost every large school district in the state of Texas has Wenger Instrument Shelves. These shelves provide individual storage for each instrument and allow the students a place to leave their lunches and binders during class time. We have so many students going in and out of the band hall at one time and usually that means someone's lunch getting taken or someones binder getting taken because of mistaken identity. The students instrument cases get broken into on a regular basis and we've even had instruments stolen from the school because they are only behind one locked door instead of individually locked doors! These shelves would help us keep the students organized and keep their investments safe!

These cabinets would save us time at the beginning and end of the class and would help us keep our investments safe! We've received over 100 new instruments to keep up with demands over the past 3 years but now we need to protect them and keep them safe!!
