With these funds our community council will print and distribute quarterly newsletters to help build a stronger sense of community among  the residents of this economically challenged public housing community with some 15,00 units and 5,500 residents. Although designated as one of the official 52 Cincinnati neighborhoods, Winton Hills is actually made up of three distinct residential areas. Historically there has been some mistrust among these areas. We are trying to invite people to move through and beyond that attitude to get to know each other and to work together for the benefit of the whole community. Establishing regular communication through the newsletter would be a helpful step. Here is a link to a sample newsletter we were able to do last spring
