About

Our efforts to form a youth council in Winton Hills received a big boost when our community was included in a grant submitted by the Community Police Partnering Center. The proposal was approved and will go into effect on October 1. In order to benefit from the grant we need to form two groups to plan and run programs for young people in our area. We need an adult support group of 8 to 12 who are willing to commit to work with youth in the neighborhood. We need a similar sized group to become the youth leadership team. The grant includes training for both the adult and youth teams teams as well as other support including funding. If you are interrested in becoming a member of one of these groups, contact Fr. Joe Folzenlogen at whcc4848@gmail.com or text or phone him at 513-319-3865 . Trainings will be conducted together with several other neighborhoods who are also forming youth councils. There will be a pre-training breakfast gathering for adult support teams on Saturday, October 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. The first adult full training sessions will be in late October.
