With these funds I will be able to purchase yoga mats, blocks, and bands to help students engage with yoga practice in a meaningful way. Without mats, the students have previously tried doing yoga on a hard gym floor, which can be damaging to the body, and makes achieving relaxation and concentration difficult when you're sliding around a gym floor in your socks. 

We might also be able to bring in professional teachers that can take the class further into the practice then I alone might be able to. Though I am proud to teach every class, I know my students would benefit from a diversity of instruction.
