Dear Family, Friends & Community Members,

My name is Robin Flowers-Quinniey and am a 2018 Jabberwock contestant. I am writing to request your support on my quest to become Ms. Jabberwock 2018. This is very important to me because as the winner I will be eligible for scholarship funds which will be dedicated to my collegiate education. My plans for the future are to be a cutting edge photojournalist. My goal is to earn a Bachelors of Arts degree in Visual & Media Arts with a minor is Journalism from the University of Richmond: Arts & Science.

The Buffalo Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., is proud to present its 2018 Jabberwock Extravaganza on April 28, 2018 at the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo, New York.

Jabberwock is a nine month enrichment program that provides a variety of educational programming for young women in grades 9-12. The contestants are members of the Western New York community and represent diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. The programs include but are not limited to; etiquette, financial literacy, health and wellness just to name a few.

In addition to the programming, Jabberwock is a fundraising competition. The funds raised are used to provide college scholarships for deserving youth in our community. Over the years the Buffalo Chapter has awarded more than $250,000 in much needed financial assistance.

In order to reach my goal, I need your help by purchasing an ad. Your support will not only assist me to reach my fundraising goal, but will also help other scholars to pursue higher education goals. Last year over 300 people attended the extravaganza; meaning your ad will be seen by a large number of individuals. Attached you will find the ad levels and specifications.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities. Since its founding over 200,000 women have joined the organization. The organization is a sisterhood of predominately Black, college educated women. In addition to providing educational development, the Buffalo Alumnae Chapter implements projects that are aligned with economic development, international awareness, physical and mental health.
