My Project: The LION KING KIDS: Production Rights and Enrichment Series 

We are working on two simultaneous fundraising projects for one goal! To produce The Lion King KIDS with the students at Ridge Creek Elementary School! Yes, I know it's a huge undertaking! AND WE ARE ALL UP FOR THE CHALLENGE!! :) 

This fundraising project is to gain the donations to produce The Lion King KIDS with our 1st grade students! This will be the first program that our elementary school has done of this caliber and my goal is to create the opportunity for them to have one like this every single year. If this gets funded, it will cover the rights and we will have the ability to put the show on once during 2 separate school years. {2 for the price of one since we get the rights for 365 days! YAY!!!!}

The second fundraising project is through DonorsChoose.org: These funds will allow us to obtain the wireless microphones to raise our little ones sweet little voices to a volume that can be heard by the audience. Not only will will be able to use these for this program, but we will continue to be able to use these for every grades program in our entire school. These microphones will make so many programs possible and be so powerful in the creation of our arts enrichment for our students! 

The experiences, life skills, and confidence that I gained from all that I learned in the theatre as a child were invaluable and have made me who I am today! My goal is to give my students a world of theatre that they would never have the opportunity to experience outside of school.
