1st Grade Teacher

"Every child is gifted, they just unwrap their packages at different times." author unknown. I have returned to the classroom after 12 years and I teach 1st grade in a Title 1 Elementary School in Humble, Texas. After 12 years in a career as a high-end wedding and event planner, I could not be more excited to sprinkle excitement, creativity, and motivation into our first grade program. Our first grade team consists of 6 classrooms- 19-21 children per classroom. They are lively, vivacious children with stars in their eyes. We are teaching them to reach for the moon!
