The Description
Help the 3668 TroBots Get to Worlds! We are the 3668 TroBots, a dedicated group of 15 students from 5 different schools, and we need your help to get to the FIRST World Championships in Houston, Texas! This season, our team has worked tirelessly, spending 6 weeks designing, building, and programming an incredible robot. Our hard work has paid off- our team placed 4th in our first tournament, 1st in our second tournament, and we earned our way to the State Championships. Thanks to our strong performance, we have now qualified for Worlds- a huge accomplishment! FIRST is an amazing organization that promotes STEM education, teamwork, and innovation. Competing at the World Championships is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our team to showcase our skills, learn from the best, and be inspired by teams from all over the globe. But we need your support to make this dream a reality! Traveling to Houston for a week-long competition comes with significant costs, including transportation, lodging, and event fees. Our mentors are incredibly proud of all we have accomplished this season, and with your help, we can take our very strong robot to the world stage! Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to representing our team, our schools, and our community at the highest level of competition. Thank you for supporting the 3668 TroBots- let's get to Worlds!
Back Up Plan
If we don't get these funds, we will have to tap into our funds we have allocated for next year's season.
About the Creator
When little people fight
We may look easy pickings but we've got some byte!” ~ from Les Miserables
The tiny TroBot team brought home the silver medal from their first meet and gold from their second competition! We are currently ranked 5th in the entire state of Michigan (out of 482 teams), 50th in the USA (out of 2706 teams), and 57th in the WORLD (out of 3324 teams)!
Our team consists of 6 freshman, 3 sophomores, 3 juniors, 1 senior and 8 mentors. We build the robot in 6 weeks adding up to over 1000 hours. The students learn design, build, programming, electrical, wood working, public speaking and many more things.
We need to raise $10K in the next two weeks to get the team to Houston for the World Wide competition. Are you willing to help these amazing students make this dream come true?
