With these funds I will purchase writing journals for the kindergarteners at my school. Writing is such a pivotal practice that needs to be supported early on in education. In the early grades writing needs to be fun, creative, positive, and exploratory. With these writing journals students will have guidance in their early writing to feel successful and accomplished. Students will explore different writing prompts and create letter dictionaries to extend their writing and word knowledge.
