About
Throughout the year we will be having enrichment clusters. This is exciting for our students and staff. Students are given the opportunity to choose what they want to learn about. Each session runs for 6-8 sessions, one time per week. This year we are excited to have parents and community members also teaching classes.
We have many wonderful clubs at Spring Creek. To name a few, we have a Running club, a Robotics, club, Chess club, Student Council and Spanish Club. There is something for everyone at Spring Creek.
Mattina Maloney
Kindergarten Teacher
Hi! My name is Mattina Maloney. I have taught kindergarten for 4 years. All my life I have wanted to be a kindergarten teacher :) The greatest moment I had was when I finished my college education/teacher certification and visited my old kindergarten teacher! She was still teaching at the same school that I went to 18 years ago! It was amazing to go back and be able to tell my previous kinder teacher that I remembered her and grew up to be a kinder teacher myself. I work at an amazing school with amazing teachers, administration, parents, and of course children!

Lauren Crockett
First Grade Teacher
Hi! I have been teaching for five years and I have loved every minute of it! I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and now 1st! This is my first year in 1st grade and it has been so much fun! Each day brings a new adventure and I love seeing my students eyes light up when they are learning. I love getting to see them eager to learn new things and explore the world around them. I truly feel so blessed to be doing what I love for a career. I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else besides being in the classroom!
Tori Laredo

Arelis Otero
1st Grade Bilingual
I am a bilingual teacher. I have thought first grade for almost 12 years with the Garland Distrist in Texas. I see everyday the struggle that my students go through. They don't get that background knowledge that they need to success in education. This is due to the lack of exposure to language even though Spanish is their first language. Being in a tittle 1 school my kids don't have the necessary technology nor the facility to see the wonders of the world. My wish is to make a different in their life for their future in education.

Hollie Reese
Speech Language Pathologist
Hi! I am the Speech Therapist at Spring Creek Elementary. Our school is filled with amazing students and staff who are always looking for new ideas to help our students learn and grow. We are in the process of creating a movement/sensory room for our students. This room will be a place for ALL children of all ages and abilities to come for movement, relaxation and exploration. It will be a therapeutic place where a child can escape to if they are overwhelmed and need a sensory break. It will be an educational room where children can stimulate their senses and develop motor skills. It will be a motor room where children can come and move and refocus their bodies and minds so that they can excel in the classroom. This room will include mats, sensory walls, trampolines, tunnels, bean bag chairs and much more. Please help us make this room a reality! Thank you.
