With these funds I will purchase a GoPro Silver Edition camera and accompanying hardware for students to use in a brand new Engineering Mathematics course I am designing. The curriculum will help to develop skills in students that directly apply to careers in engineering, namely computer programing,software fluency, and the mathematic operations associated with each. This one camera will connect to our WiFi network and allow an entire class to analyze video recorded tests simultaneously, as well as provide the platform to begin learning video editing techniques and procedures. It will offer afford students the opportunity to document their work using pictures and video in a way that is immediate and efficient as opposed to other camera options.
