With these funds I will provide my students with the MUCH needed opportunity to move!  It is scientifically proven that physical activity is directly associated with a greater ability to learn.  I strongly believe that children are expected to sit still for way too long!!  Children are NOT made to sit still (and most adults aren't that good at it either!).  I feel that my students will be better learners, will be better able to make better behavior choices, and will be healthier and happier if we can find a way to incorporate movement as much as possible.
