With these funds I will...buy resources to implement flexible or alternative seating in my third grade classroom. Flexible classrooms give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them. Flexible seating helps students to work collaboratively, communicate with peers, and use critical thinking skills. My third grade students deserve the chance to figure out what their preferred learning environment is. This will be information they will use throughout their lives to help them learn strategies for success. The money raised will go towards, wiggle seats, bean bags, stools, rugs, yoga balls, pillows, clip boards, and lap boards.
