Students engaging with technology is becoming increasingly important as we move further into the digital age. My class loves to get on the computer because they are able to engage in a wide range of content that meets them at their level. This year I want my class to not only use the computer, but I want them to build their very own and they can do that with PlayPiper kits.

Students begin the PlayPiper experience by building the Piper Computer Kit, a fully functioning computer, following a real engineering blueprint. Once built, students can play the educational Raspberry Pi Edition of Minecraft games that teaches them electronics in the game and then instructs them to build an electronic smart device that powers up the Minecraft game. This allows students to gain a much better understanding of how computers actually work and function.
