The Description
Research shows that when students have options, they do better academically. By having several options for seating in my room, I am allowing students to be the best learners they can be.
The floor desk will give them a chance to sit on the floor and comfortably work.
They are easy to store and light enough for the students to move around.
The bands will go on the student chairs. This will help students who need to bounce their legs in order to pay attention.
Yoga Balls with feet will give my ADHD kids the opportunity to fidget and bounce with out disrupting the rest of the class.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will purchase... just the bands for the that will go on the student chairs.
About the Creator
I work in a rural community at a Title I school. I have two classes of 10 students each.My classes is made up of all 1508 . They are full of love and will do anything to please. I want to give them the best opportunity available for learning. Sometimes small changes illicit big results and this is why I think that providing flexible seating will really increase focus for these students. It will give them a chance to move safely while remaining engaged.
