The Description
With these funds I will purchase robots to use with my students. They will build prototypes, learn computer programming, and use their problem-solving skills to complete courses with their robots. This will give them the 21st century skills that they need in the job market, as well as utilize their strengths instead of focusing on their disabilities.
Back Up Plan
If we do not reach our goal I will purchase alternative robot kits that are less expensive.
About the Creator
I teach science to students with disabilities at North High School in Denver Public Schools. This year, we are learning about sex education and robotics in order to prepare students for their lives after high school.
