With these funds I will give students the opportunity to have hands-on coding experiences in a before school program. The kit provides enough resources for 18 students to practice coding skills and invent with electronics. The kits that will be purchased are littleBits code kits, which allow groups of students to create four games using skills that include creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving strategies. Each kit costs $299.95 and I am looking to purchase 6 kits so more students will have an opportunity to have this hands-on learning experience.
