6th Grade Field Trip to Alliance Redwoods

Verified Non-Profit
$1,825
$2,062 goal

The Description
Our school truly values teamwork and interpersonal skill development. By going on this trip, our students will be learning valuable teamwork skills by participating in a variety of outdoor activities including zip lining and sports. We will also be learning about herpetology while at the camp, observing animal traits and adaptability in the while to tie into our science curriculum.
This camp is a truly unique experience, as we hope to take our team on a 2 night overnight trip to work on these skills and provide memories for all of our students. These team building skills will carry over into the rest of our work this school year to build personal connections.
As this trip is very expensive, we hope to alleviate some of the cost to our families by raising funds to cover part of the trip so that any family that wants to go will be able to.
Back Up Plan
Whatever funds we raise will be going towards the trip, so if we do not reach the goal we will still apply the funds raised to help alleviate the cost of the trip for our families.

Thank you!
October 12, 2018
Thank you to everyone who has donated to our field trip so far! We couldn't make this trip possible without all of your help. We have just a few days left and know that even if we do not fully fund this trip, this is money that will help our students have an amazing experience!
Best,
6th Grade team
