With these funds I will buy a Double-Wide Teaching Easel With Locking Casters for my kindergarten classroom. Every day I am modeling correct letter formation and sentence structure (capital letters in the beginning, spaces between words, punctuation at the end) for my growing writers! This is the only whiteboard easel that I have ever seen with permanent handwriting lines on it. This whiteboard easel will help students practice handwriting and writing stories in centers. It will be accessible to all my students during the day and after school at tutoring. It is moveable so I can use it during teaching time, small group instruction, and students can use it during centers. I can attach a pocket chart to the other side so students can play games. Big books can be used on the easel. The possibilities are endless!
