The Description

With these funds I will purchase 4 transmitters for the Califone Infrared wireless headphones we already have. My younger students with autism struggle to stay focused on computer based intervention programs because of the distraction of a headphone wire. With these transmitters, the temptation to spin, twirl, or chew the wire used in traditional headphones is removed! They are $25-$35/unit, and give my students access to a plethora of computer based curriculum.

Back Up Plan

If I do not meet my goal I will purchase the number of transmitters that what I earned allows. If there is remaining fund that does not add up to the cost of a transmitter it will be applied toward noise reduction earmuffs.

About the Creator

I became a teacher in 2011, seeking a career where I could do more for children. When I was given the opportunity to teach students with autism in K-2, I took the chance without a clue of how awe inspiring, endearing and extraordinary my students would be.
